CRIME update for May 2026 |

Dear Resident
Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Radford West Police beat area during the month of May.
Burglaries residential = 2 08/05 Addington Road – Premises broken into, nothing reported stolen, entry gained via skylight. 22/05 Ilkeston Road – Entry gained through insecure unlocked door, laptop and projector taken.
Criminal damage = 10 04/05 Manston Mews – Window to door smashed. 07/05 Woodgate Court – Crack to window of property. 09/05 Alfreton Road – Nearside wing mirror kicked off a vehicle. 13/05 Leroy Wallace Avenue – Door busted after being kicked in. 19/05 Argyle Court – Window to property smashed. 20/05 Radford Boulevard – Graffiti damage, image of penis drawn on front door. 22/05 Alfreton Road – Brick thrown at door causing the glass panel to smash. 22/05 Graham Street – Group of unknown males have vandalized vehicle by breaking the wing mirror off. 22/05 Graham Street – Unknown male has kicked wing mirror causing damage. 24/05 Garfield Road – Door kicked in causing it to break.
Theft of motor vehicle = 1 21/05 Alfreton Road – Yamaha Scooter stolen.
Theft from vehicle = 4 Between 05/05 and 12/05 Ilkeston Road – Vehicle broken into, laptop, wallet, cash and bag stolen. Since realising victim's bank card has been used in 5 locations. Between 08/05 and 10/05 Forest Road West – Sunglasses, clothes and centre console screen has been stolen. Between 14/05 and 18/05 Ilkeston Road – Bank notified victim someone attempting to use their bank card, upon returning to vehicle discovered wallet, perfume and sunglasses have been stolen. Between 14/05 and 15/05 Denman Street Central – Tool's stolen from boot of vehicle.
